About AURA
AURA is a rapid security response service, specialising in getting security officers to the scene of alarm and CCTV activations as quickly as possible. This service is increasingly popular as the police often have to de-prioritise property crime, and as businesses and homeowners are less able or willing to send colleagues, neighbours or family members to the property as a keyholder. When the ability to send a professional security officer is now so quick, easy and affordable, without expensive long-term contracts, private security solutions such as AURA make so much sense.
How it Works?
AURA utilises the very best technology, which accelerates response times compared to legacy providers of nationwide mobile security. Mobile security officers from network partners all across the UK have the AURA responder app on their phones. Our ringing algorithm identifies the closest vetted security officer to the location of the activation. This means that many more officers are available, rather than just relying on one partner. The technology further assists in providing directions, linked to what3words references where available, with detailed onsite checklists and image capture guidance. Detailed reports with GPS timestamped activities supported by live tracking provide additional benefit for customers.

Commercials
Compared to keyholding costs, AURA is typically about one fifth of the price. Across multiple sites over many years, the savings add up significantly. Combining the cost savings with the impact of faster responses, the value of AURA for customers is significant.
AURA charges a monthly fee plus ad hoc callout fee. Our customers typically resell the AURA service to their customers including a markup. There are no long contracts, which means the service can be provided to support short term projects or even to provide cover during holidays.

AURA’s network can also deliver scheduled services for your customers, all of which can be quickly booked within the customer portal. AURA vs Keyholding
AURA adopts a many to one resource model in that the closest vetted security officer at the time of the alarm is likely to attend the scene. This means that holding a physical key is not possible. As such, and where an internal inspection is required, our customers are installing key safes, ranging from the most basic mechanical version to battery powered connected devices.
