This UPS is either rack mountable or a free standing tower unit. it has a PFC (power factor correction) of 0.9pfc (dependant on input volatage). As an online UPS this offers protection from power surges and spikes as the current is first flowed through the batteries and then to the connected equipment thus offering a higher level of protection than standard line interactive UPS's. Greater back up time can be achieved with the use of external battery packs.
