This is an exciting opportunity for the right person, you must be driven and highly motivated. The candidate must have experience in the Security industry, ideally from a distribution background selling our key brands – Dahua & Ajax.

In this role you will need to achieve and exceed sales targets by creating long-term, trusting relationships with customers with a view to developing new business from existing and lapsed clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

The key responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities from existing customers & closing sales.

You will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including our in-house technical support department, internal & external sales, warehouse, marketing & accounts) to improve the entire customer experience.

Sales Development Manager Key Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Hitting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Self-generation of leads from new potential customers & existing customers.
  • Generating quotes and processing orders.  
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships that lead to incremental sales and maximise customer retention.
  • Conducting fact find calls.
  • Follow-up activities to support and close sales.
  • Maintaining MAST’s CRM system to track activity.
  • Attend regular manufacturer training to extend your product knowledge.



  • (Industry experience) Security Distribution
  • Strong communication and excellent telephone manner.
  • Track record hitting sales targets.
  • Strong Influence and negotiation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Strong organisational skills
