Ezviz mini pano - Now in stock!

Ezviz mini pano - Now in stock!

I really like this new mini pano from ezviz.

This little fisheye camera works great on it's wn along with the EZVIZ app and an SD card but other options include adding to your existing Hikvision CCTV or IVMS-4200 client software.

The ezviz app offers you options to manipulate the camera view between 360° view, 180° panoramic view or 4-way split.

IVMS-4200 gives even more options, as can be seen below in this quick video of a first test.

Guide: How to set-up your Hikvision IP camera as a standalone camera using SD card for recording

Guide: How to set-up your Hikvision IP camera as a standalone camera using SD card for recording

Every now and then you may have a situation that arises where your client does not require a large recorder (NVR/DVR).
There is now a variety of Hikvision IP Cameras that can operate as a standalone system with an SD card used for the recording instead of a traditional recorder.

To set this kind of system up you will require a network cable, power supply (either 12VDC or POE injector), an SD Card (up to 128GB) and of course the camera. A PC/laptop will be required for the configuration.

The first step will be to install the SD card into the camera, for our example we will be using a DS-2CD2355FWD-I Turret Camera.

• Remove the outer ring of the camera to expose the locking screw.

• Loosen the locking screw (note this does not need to be fully removed)
