Technical DirectorIt's that time of year again, where the clocks leap forward – we get to enjoy lighter, longer evenings and once again it’s time to remind you all to make sure you have set your Video Surveillance systems up correctly to make use of the in built functions, namely DST and NTP. Hopefully, you won't be asking what these settings are, and hopefully you have already got them set up ready for Sunday, when the clocks go forward. If not, then be prepared for phone calls from your customers to ask why the clocks on their 'CCTV' are now an hour out!

In this video, Stew demonstrates exactly how to setup automatic pan, tilt & zooms so your PTZ can navigate key areas of the scene 24/7. Although a TiOC PTZ was used in this video, all Presets, Tours, Patterns, Idle Motion & Time Task settings should be accessible on all network PTZs when viewed from a web browser (eg. Internet Explorer or Edge).
Includes: All TiOC PTZ settings, Preset points, Tours, Patterns, Idle Motion & Time Task settings

In this video, Stew goes through the steps of setting up a 4-wire, analogue Dahua video intercom and linking it with a maglock and push-to-exit button. The KTA02M kit used is one of the most cost effective methods of replacing old doorbells with two-way audio and live video for maximum security.

In this brief video, Stew narrates a video of the TiOC PTZ panning & activating its lights & sirens. This PTZ offers installers an affordable, all-in-one solution for guarding open, public spaces.
Utilise its audio outputs to amplify its audio using a TOA powered horn speaker (as seen in the related video!)

The built-in speaker is an effective deterrent & audible in its immediate vicinity but if you need an audible warning message anywhere near the PTZ's 150M IR Range to warn off potential intruders before they even get close - you're going to need a separate audio solution... We present the TOA powered horn speaker.
Using just a 12V DC PSU, you can connect a powered horn speaker directly to the audio connections of the PTZ, change the audio output device of the PTZ via the web browser to really pack a punch with any of your own custom audio messages as demonstrated in this video.
